Space Medicine

Humanity's desire to discover the unknown is now focused on the alluring vastness and mysteries of space. In order for humans to traverse this vastness, we must understand how to maintain human health in space. Currently, the International Space Station (ISS) is the best platform for researching how microgravity, cosmic radiation, and other stressors of space affect the body. Studying and communicating findings about astronaut health help to not only prepare us for missions to Mars and beyond, but also to improve healthcare on Earth.
